  • Unarmed Police Constable: 6,600 posts (4,422 male, 2,178 female)
  • Armed Police Constable: 3,302 posts (2,212 male, 1,090 female)
  • Jail Sepoy: 1,098 posts (1,013 male, 85 female)
  • Armed Police Constable (SRPF): 1,000 posts (male only)


Educational Qualification:

  • Unarmed Police Sub Inspector: Any degree
  • All Other Posts: 12th pass (Higher Secondary Exam)

Physical Test Standards:

  • Male Candidates: 5000 meters run in 25 minutes
  • Female Candidates: 1600 meters run in 9 minutes 30 seconds
  • Ex-Servicemen: 2400 meters run in 12 minutes 30 seconds
