Bihar BCECEB Senior Resident / Tutor Under Health Department Recruitment 2024

Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for the positions of Senior Resident Tutor (three-year tenure) in medical colleges and hospitals under the Bihar Medical Education Service Recruitment, Appointment, and Promotion Rules, 2008, and the amended rules of 2013. Candidates who have previously submitted a complete application as per advertisement numbers BCECEB/Health(SR)/2024/01 and 2024/02 dated 16.03.2024, and 2024/03 dated 04.04.2024, are not required to submit a new online application for this counseling; they are also eligible for this counseling. If they wish to make any edits to the previously submitted data for the re-conducted Counseling/Document Verification, they can do so from October 8, 2024, to October 9, 2024.

📋 Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification for Senior Resident/Tutor Positions:

40% of positions: Filled by members of the Bihar State Health Service.
40%: Filled by doctors who completed a postgraduate degree (Residency Scheme) from state medical colleges.
20%: Filled by doctors with a postgraduate degree (Residency Scheme) from recognized institutions outside the state.
Minimum qualification: Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.
If there is a shortage of eligible candidates, a diploma may be accepted as the minimum qualification, with candidates receiving 10 extra marks. However, their ranking will be below those with postgraduate degrees.
Candidates with equivalent postgraduate degrees recognized by the Medical Council of India are also eligible for selection.
