In response to the letter reference 1& 2nd cited, A.P Medical services Recruitment Board has issued Notification for filling up the posts of Assistant Professors on Direct Recruitment & Lateral Entry on Regular basis in the existing vacancies in Government Medical Colleges under the control of D.M.E., A.P vide ref. 1". cited. In view of the above it is requested to upload the Notification in the above Recruitment in the web portal of http://dme.ap.nic.in.1

Educational Qualifications:

Broad Specialties: PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM) from recognized institutions
Super Specialties: PG Degree (DNB/DM/MCH) from recognized institutions
Direct Recruitment requires one year of Senior Residency post-qualification.

Local Candidature:
- Only candidates who are local to Andhra Pradesh are eligible.
In-Service Candidates:
- Must obtain NOC from their current employer and submit an acceptance resignation letter if selected.

Selection Procedure:

Direct Recruitment:
- Based on merit and rule of reservation.
- Marks distribution: 75% for qualifying degree, 10% for years since qualification, 5% for degrees from central institutions, 15% for contract service.
Lateral Entry:
- For in-service candidates within DME or related departments.
- Merit list based on rank and service records.
