HPPSC Recruitment 2025 - Apply Online for 04 Scientific Officer, Assistant Director Posts
The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has announced 04 vacancies for the posts of Scientific Officer and Assistant Director in different disciplines. This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for postgraduates and Ph.D. holders in Forensic Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official HPPSC portal between 07 November 2025 and 04 December 2025. Selection will be through an Objective Type Screening Test / Subject Aptitude Test followed by a Personality Test. Selected candidates will receive monthly emoluments ranging from ₹28,000 to ₹40,500.

For Scientific Officer

At least 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Forensic Science / Chemistry / Biochemistry / M.S / M.Pharma from a recognized University.

Experience: 3 years post M.Sc./M.S/M.Pharma experience in research, training, or analytical work in the above subjects.

(Ph.D. research work shall be counted in total experience.)
For Assistant Director
-
At least 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Forensic Science / Physics / Mathematics / Multimedia Forensics from a recognized University.

Experience: 7 years post M.Sc. experience in one of the above subjects.

Ph.D. with experience in Forensic Voice Analysis preferred.
