HPRCA Assistant Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 (390 Posts) – Apply Online

The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur has released an important recruitment notification for 390 Assistant Staff Nurse (ASN) posts under the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Himachal Pradesh. This recruitment is meant exclusively for female candidates and will be conducted on an engagement basis for a period of five years. Candidates who hold B.Sc. Nursing (minimum 50% marks) or GNM (A Grade Nursing Diploma) with 50% marks from a recognized institution are eligible to apply. In addition, applicants must be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council (HPNRC), Shimla and must be Bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh. The online application process begins on 12 February 2026 and closes on 05 March 2026 at 11:59 PM. Applications will only be accepted through the official HPRCA website. No offline applications are allowed. Selection will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) or Written Screening Test of 120 marks, lasting 1.5 hours. The exam will include questions from nursing subjects, general knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, current affairs, reasoning, everyday science, English, and Hindi of matric level. Selected candidates will receive a fixed consolidated honorarium of ₹25,000 per month for five years as per the policy of the HP Government’s Department of Medical Education & Research. These posts are temporary engagement positions and do not provide regular government employee status.
