INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING

1. One-Time Registration: Candidates must register on the official Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) website for One-Time Registration before applying for the post.

2. Application Submission: After registration, log in using your User ID and password. Click the 'Apply Now' button for the Security Officer post in the notification link.

3. Photograph Requirements: Upload a recent photograph (taken after 31.12.2014) with your name and the date printed legibly at the bottom. Photographs uploaded are valid for 10 years.

4. Application Fee: No application fee is required.

5. Provisional Submission: Ensure correctness of personal information before final submission, as applications cannot be altered or deleted afterward.

6. Document Verification: Original documents to prove qualifications, age, community, etc., must be available for verification when called for.

7. Written Test Confirmation: If a test is part of the selection, candidates must confirm their participation through their One-Time Registration profile.

8. Contact Information: Ensure your mobile number is registered for receiving updates about the application process.

9. Caste/Community Claims: In case of discrepancies in caste/community claims, produce a Gazette Notification along with a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate during verification.

10. Disciplinary Actions: Candidates submitting bogus claims of qualification may face disciplinary action as per KPSC rules.
