🎯 Age Limit

Assistant Registrar, Librarian, etc.: 35 years
Technical Assistant, Superintendent, Junior Engineer, etc.: 30 years
Technician, Senior Assistant, Office Attendant: 27 years
Age relaxation available for certain categories (as per GOI norms).

🎓 Qualification

Essential: First-Class Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in the relevant field.
Desirable: Relevant work experience in the respective areas. Specific educational and professional qualifications for each post as per the Recruitment Rules of NITs.

5	Technical Assistant	04	Not exceeding 30 years	First Class B.E/B.Tech/MCA or First Class Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Science.
6	Superintendent	01	Not exceeding 30 years	First Class Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in any discipline with computer knowledge.
7	Junior Engineer	02	Not exceeding 30 years	First Class B.E/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering or First Class Diploma in relevant field.
8	Technician	03	Not exceeding 27 years	Senior Secondary (10+2) with science and 60% marks or ITI course or Diploma in Engineering.
9	Senior Technician	04	Not exceeding 33 years	Senior Secondary (10+2) with 60% marks or ITI course or Diploma in Engineering.
10	Senior Assistant	01	Not exceeding 33 years	Senior Secondary (10+2) with typing speed of 35 WPM and proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
11	Office Attendant	02	Not exceeding 27 years	Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board.
