BARC OCES & DGFS Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for Scientific Officer (Group-A) Posts

The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), through BARC Training Schools, has released the notification for recruitment of Scientific Officers via OCES-2026 and DGFS-2026 programmes. This recruitment is open to eligible Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates across multiple disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Biosciences, Geology and Geophysics. Selection is conducted through an Online Screening Examination or valid GATE-2024/2025/2026 score, followed by a Personal Interview. During training, selected candidates receive a monthly stipend of ₹74,000. On successful completion, candidates are appointed as Scientific Officers (Group-A) in Pay Level-10 (₹56,100 basic pay) with total emoluments of approximately ₹1.35 lakh per month (Mumbai posting). Posting may be at BARC, IGCAR, NPCIL, NFC and other DAE units across India.
