DAE Doctoral Fellowship Scheme (DDFS) 2026 – PhD Programme for Engineering Post-Graduates

The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) through Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) invites online applications for the Doctoral Fellowship Scheme (DDFS) 2026 for engineering post-graduates. Selected candidates will pursue a full-time PhD programme under the aegis of Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), commencing from the 3rd week of July 2026. The selection process consists of an Online Screening Test (CBT) followed by a Selection Interview. Selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹80,000, along with an annual contingency grant, medical benefits, and hostel accommodation. This programme offers an excellent opportunity to conduct advanced research at premier institutions such as BARC, IGCAR, IPR, VECC, and RRCAT. 🔔 Note: This recruitment is for a PhD Research Fellowship (fellowship-based programme).
