Job Description:

• Project Proposal Preparation: Develop proposals including work plans for assigned research topics.
• Research Activities: Conduct literature searches, set up experimental facilities, and perform experimental/pilot/simulation studies.
• Result Interpretation: Analyze results, prepare technical reports, and undertake further studies for development or improvement.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience:

Ph.D. Required in:

1. Polymers/Polyolefin/Petrochemicals: Research experience in polymer synthesis, characterization, and catalyst development.
2. Battery Research: Expertise in energy storage systems, metal-ion batteries, fuel cells.
3. Membrane Separation and Adsorptive Separation: Experience in polymer membranes, adsorbent material development.
4. Catalysis: Experience in heterogeneous catalysis and catalytic materials.
5. Materials/Nano-materials: Development experience in inorganic porous materials, nanomaterials, and thermic fluids.
6. Analytical and Organic Chemistry: Expertise in advanced analytical techniques and synthetic organic chemistry.
7. Bio-Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology: Experience in microbial bioprocesses and biofuels.
8. Chemical Engineering: Specialization in separation processes, catalytic processes, modeling, simulation, and refining processes.
9. Combustion & Emission Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Thermal Engineering/Mechanical Engineering: Research in internal combustion engines, corrosion studies.
10. Metallurgy: Specialization in corrosion studies.

M.Tech Required in:

1. Chemical Engineering: Experience in process design, modeling, simulation, and CFD.
2. Metallurgy (Corrosion Studies): Experience in industrial corrosion lab facilities.
3. Mechanical Engineering: Experience in tribology, CFD.
4. Combustion & Emission Engineering/Automobile Engineering: Experience in engine lab facilities, CFD.
5. Thermal Engineering: Experience in solar thermal, thermal management systems, thermic fluids.
6. Polymers/Plastic Technology and Biotechnology.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Relevant degrees must be awarded by September 30, 2024.
• Experience: Minimum 1-year post-M.Tech experience required for M.Tech candidates.

Selection Process:
