(i) Holding Analogous Post:

• (aa) Holding an analogous post in fire fighting cadre on a regular basis in Pay Band-1, ₹5200-20200/- with Grade Pay ₹2000/- (Revised Pay Level-3).
• OR
• (ab) Having three years of service in the grade of Fireman Grade I or equivalent on a regular basis in Pay Band-1, ₹5200-20200/- with Grade Pay ₹1900/- (Revised Pay Level-2).

(ii) Possessing the Following Qualifications:

• Essential Qualifications:

  • (aa) Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
  • (ab) Experience of maintaining documents at the Fire Station.
  • (ac) One year experience in using minor and major fire fighting appliances or equipment.
  • (ad) Ability to train, guide, and control the working of fire crews, and take independent charge of shifts.
  • (ae) Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.

• Desirable Qualifications:

  • (aa) Experience with the use, maintenance, and operation of different types of fire fighting equipment and appliances.
  • (ab) Experience working in a regular civil or Defence Fire Brigade as Fireman.
