How to Apply & Instructions:

• Self-Attested Documents Required:

  • Age proof.
  • Educational qualification (as per Sl. No. 1 (b)(iv)).
  • Valid driving license (as per Sl. No. 1 (b)(i)).
  • Driving experience certificate (as per Sl. No. 1 (b)(iii)).
  • Caste certificate (for reservation, in prescribed format).
  • Proof of Ex-serviceman status (if applicable).

• Application Fee:

  • Attach an Indian Postal Order (IPO) or UCR receipt for Rs. 100/- with the application.
  • Shortlisted candidates must pay Rs. 400/- as the examination fee for the driving test via IPO or UCR (SC/ST/Female candidates exempted).

• Photographs:

  • Two recent passport-sized photographs (self-attested):
    • One pasted on the application form.
    • One attached separately.

• Submission Process:

  • Use a thick paper envelope marked:
    "Application for the post of Driver (Direct Recruitment) at Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Bihar Circle, Patna-800001".
  • Send via Speed Post/Register Post only to:
    Assistant Director (Rectt.), Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Bihar Circle, Patna-800001.
  • Applications sent by other means will be rejected.

• Important Dates:

  • Last date for receipt of applications: 12/01/2025 by 1700 Hrs.

• Other Notes:

  • Incomplete applications or those missing required documents will be rejected without notice.
  • No TA/DA will be provided.
