Application Process:

• Online Application: Register and fill out the application form on the Indian Navy's official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
• Application Window: Open from 14 September 2024 to 29 September 2024.

2. Preparation Before Applying:

• Documents Required: Have the following documents ready:
  • Scanned copies of mark sheets (up to 5th & 7th semester for BE/B.Tech courses, all semesters for other degrees).
  • Date of birth proof (as per 10th & 12th certificates).
  • CGPA conversion formula for BE/B.Tech.
  • NCC ‘C’ certificate (if applicable).
  • Passport size color photograph.
• Document Format: Ensure all scanned documents are in JPG/TIFF format and are legible.

3. Filling the Application Form:

• Personal Details: Enter personal details as per the Matriculation Certificate.
• Contact Information: Provide a valid email address and mobile number.
• Educational Qualifications: Enter details accurately as per the qualifications required for the branch/cadre you are applying for.

4. Preferences:

• Branch/Cadre Preferences: Indicate your preferences for branches/cadres. Note that you will only be considered for branches you have selected.
• Pilot/NAOO Allowance: If applying for Pilot/NAOO branches, be aware of specific physical/medical standards.

5. After Submission:

• Application Finalization: Once submitted, the application cannot be amended. Ensure all details are correct before final submission.
• Printout: Take a printout of the completed application form and keep it for reference.

6. Selection Procedure:

• Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree.
• SSB Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email or SMS regarding the SSB interview dates.
• Medical Examination: Candidates must undergo a medical examination as part of the selection process.

7. Important Notes:

• NCC Certificate Relaxation: NCC ‘C’ certificate holders with minimum ‘B’ Grade will receive a 5% relaxation in cut-off marks for shortlisting.
• Proof of Qualification: Ensure to send proof of completing the qualifying degree with the required percentage to officer@navy.gov.in by 20 June 2025.
• Change of SSB Center: No change of SSB center or dates is permitted under any circumstances.

8. Fraud Prevention:

• Accuracy: Ensure all information provided is accurate and truthful. Misrepresentation or falsification of information will lead to disqualification.
• Drug Use: Any candidate found in possession of narcotics during the selection/training/service will be barred from joining or removed from service.
