The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has officially announced the Jharkhand Technical/Special Qualification Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination 2026, commonly known as JSSC JTGLCCE 2026. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 611 regular vacancies across various departments of the Jharkhand State Government. The official notification was released on 07 May 2026 under Advertisement Number 01/2026. This is a golden opportunity for graduates and postgraduates in fields such as Life Sciences, Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Dairy Technology, Fishery Science, Pharmacy, Physics, and Chemistry to land a stable and well-paying government job in Jharkhand. The JSSC JTGLCCE Recruitment 2026 covers 10 different post categories including Assistant Entomologist, Assistant Vector-Borne Disease Control Officer, Inspector under the Vector-Borne Disease Control Programme, Block Statistical Supervisor, Dairy Technical Officer, Fishery Extension Supervisor, Auditor, Junior Scientific Assistant, and Laboratory Assistants in Physics and Chemistry. Candidates interested in applying for the JSSC JTGLCCE 2026 must submit their applications exclusively through the official JSSC website at jssc.jharkhand.gov.in. The online application window opens on 01 June 2026 and closes on 30 June 2026. The final deadline for fee payment and document uploads is 03 July 2026. A correction window is also available from 05 July to 10 July 2026, allowing candidates to make changes to most fields in their application form. The selection procedure for JSSC JTGLCCE 2026 involves two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBT) — a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination. The Preliminary Exam comprises 120 multiple-choice questions covering General Studies, Jharkhand State General Knowledge, General Mathematics, General Science, and Mental Ability, all to be answered within 2 hours. However, if the total number of applicants is below 50,000, the commission may decide to skip the Preliminary Exam and directly conduct the Main Examination. The Main Examination is divided into three papers. Paper 1 tests candidates on Hindi language comprehension and grammar. Paper 2 covers a tribal or regional language chosen from 12 available options. Paper 3 focuses on the technical or special subject relevant to the post applied for, combined with General Studies, Science, Mathematics, and Mental Ability. The final merit list is prepared based on normalized combined marks of Paper 2 and Paper 3. One important feature of this exam is the negative marking system — for every wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted, while every correct answer earns 3 marks. Candidates should therefore attempt questions carefully and avoid guesswork. The pay scales on offer are quite competitive. Posts at Pay Matrix Level-5 carry a salary range of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month, Level-6 posts range from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400, and Level-7 posts offer Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to standard government benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other admissible perks under Jharkhand Government rules. The minimum age requirement for all posts is 21 years, while the upper age limit varies by category — 35 years for General/EWS, up to 40 years for SC/ST candidates. Age is calculated as on 01 August 2025. Relaxations are provided for reserved category candidates, PwD applicants, and ex-servicemen as per state government norms. Candidates applying from the General, EWS, or OBC categories must pay an application fee of Rs. 100, while SC/ST candidates from Jharkhand need to pay Rs. 50. PwD candidates from Jharkhand are fully exempted from the fee. It is worth noting that JSSC has also released Advertisement No. 02/2026 for 4 backlog vacancies in reserved categories alongside this notification. Candidates can apply for both advertisements by paying only a single exam fee, making this an even more valuable opportunity. All admit cards, result notifications, and merit lists will be published exclusively on the official JSSC website. Candidates are strongly advised to keep checking the portal regularly and to apply well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues.
